Mário Antunes gained his PhD

Mário Antunes completed today, the 23rd of November 2011, his PhD in Computer Science. He had an excellent performance in his defense of his thesis entitled "An Artificial Immune System for anomaly detection based on dynamic tunable activation thresholds". The jury included professors Jonathan Timmis (Univ. of York, UK), Ernesto Costa (DEI/Univ. Coimbra), Inês Dutra (UPorto), and PhD advisor Manuel Eduardo Correia (UPorto). Many congratulations to Mário and to Eduardo, his advisor at CRACS. Mário is affiliated with IPL (Inst. Politécnico de Leiria) and will stay with CRACS, contributing as an effective senior researcher. Best congratulations from CRACS!
